What is Arp-spoof?

• Arp-spoof is an attack that keeps you in Man in the Middle of the connection.

Pros and cons of Arp-spoof:

Pros:

• You can get passwords of Target when you and Target are in the same Network.

• You can spoof the target machine to any website you want such as pishing websites. 

• You can replace the downloads of the target while downloading such as Backdoors, keyloggers, etc...

• You can inject Javascript codes for beef attacks.

Cons:

• All attacks from Pros will work when you are Man in the Middle of the connection.

How to install Arp-spoof in Kali Linux?

• Open terminal.

• Type the highlighted command.

apt-get install dsniff

•  And hit enter.

How to remove Arp-spoof in Kali Linux?

• Open terminal.

•  Type the highlighted command.

apt-get remove dsniff

•  And hit enter.
